KM Bag – Where fitness meets fighting!

Heavy bags, Medicine balls, Kettle bells and jump ropes are just a few of the tools used in this class.

This class features a combination of strength training, dynamic flexibility, and heavy bag work. The focus of this class is to emphasize muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Students will learn correct body alignment to maximize efficiency, while refining Krav Maga technique through repetition, drills, and punch kick combinations on the bag. Boxing gloves or bag gloves are required.

KB Bag – What is a Kettle Bell?

fitness2.jpgThe Kettle Bell was originally developed in Russia as a form of strength training for athletes and military. It is a dynamic tool that moves and rotates within the hand. The kettle bell’s offset center of gravity demands constant control and concentration from the student and is a highly effective tool from developing strength and power.

KB Bag combines strength training exercises with the Kettle Bell and bag work, focus mitt, and/or Thai pad training (Thai pad classes are held at our Sherman Oaks location only). These classes are designed to increase student’s strength, power, and performance in Krav Maga, fighting, or any other athletic skill.
