This week will cover the ins and outs of the Deadlift.  Lifting an object off the ground (what we call a Deadlift in CrossFit) is an quintessential movement for life.  We consider this one of the most function movements we can teach to our athletes.  It is our belief that if you can squat well, and you can Deadlift well, you can probably do most functional movements well.  Come in and learn this powerful skill today.

Step 1: Using your right hand to redirect, slide it up your body, concealing it from view as much as possible. Perform the cupping technique. Your left hand will naturally make a “wrist release” when reaching for the control since the thumb of the assailant (the weak part of the grip) will be up.
